THE MEDALLION 2 (2026)

Set years after the events of the original, Eddie Yang (Jackie Chan) has retired from his chaotic life as a Hong Kong cop turned immortal warrior. But when fragments of the ancient medallion resurface—rumored to unlock not only immortality but also godlike power—a global manhunt begins.

A new shadowy villain emerges, seeking to control the medallion to rewrite destiny itself. Eddie, joined by his estranged ally Nicole James (Claire Forlani), is forced back into action. From Hong Kong’s neon-soaked streets to hidden temples in Tibet and underground vaults in London, the chase spans continents.

Action & Visuals

  • Jackie Chan delivers his trademark blend of jaw-dropping stunts and slapstick comedy, proving he still has the timing and charisma that made him legendary.

  • The sequel raises the supernatural stakes: glowing medallion fragments, high-octane car chases through collapsing temples, and wire-fu battles against undead guardians.

  • The action choreography mixes Jackie’s classic improvisational combat with modern CGI-enhanced sequences, making it both nostalgic and fresh.

Themes & Tone

Unlike the original’s lighter, buddy-comedy feel, The Medallion 2 leans into darker fantasy themes—immortality, destiny, and sacrifice—while still carrying Jackie’s comedic heart. The film balances mystical wonder with thrilling martial arts, aiming for the epic scale of Shang-Chi but with Jackie’s signature charm.
