Invasion of the Mermaids (2025)

Set in a near-future coastal world where climate change has altered the planet’s ecosystems, Invasion of the Mermaids blends environmental themes with fantastical, undersea terror. The story begins when a mysterious underwater species—mermaids—emerges from the deep ocean, initially appearing as peaceful, enigmatic creatures. But as they start to interact with humanity, it becomes clear that their intentions are far from benign. Instead of peaceful coexistence, a struggle for survival and dominance ensues, threatening both the oceans and the land above.

As scientists, governments, and ordinary citizens attempt to understand and control the mermaids, their beautiful but dangerous nature is revealed. Led by a strong-willed marine biologist (played by a talented newcomer), the team fights to protect humanity from the mermaid threat while trying to understand the creatures’ mysterious origin.

Additionally, Invasion of the Mermaids explores the tension between humanity’s survival instinct and the need for ecological preservation, presenting a moral dilemma about how to coexist with these newly revealed oceanic beings.
