Transformers: Age of Extinction is a 2014 American science fiction action film based on Hasbro’s Transformers toy line. It is the fourth installment in the Transformers film series and follows the story of the “Creators,” an alien race that used Seeds to cover Earth with a metallic alloy called “Transformium” supposedly wiping out dinosaurs. In the present day, geologist Darcy Tirrel excavates Transformium for K.S.I. Industries, using it to build Transformer drones. After the Battle of Chicago, humans view Transformers as hostile and terminate all joint operations with them. 
They are hunted down by a rogue CIA black ops division, Cemetery Wind, led by Harold Attinger. Optimus Prime, a damaged Transformer, hides in Texas and is discovered by Cade Yeager, a financially struggling inventor and single father. Optimus and Tessa’s secret boyfriend, Shane Dyson, rescue the Yeager family, but he is killed by one of Lockdown’s grenades. Optimus summons the surviving Autobots, including Bumblebee, Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs, and Cade discovers K.S.I.’s involvement with Cemetery Wind and the attacks on the Autobots using a stolen CIA drone.

They create prototype Transformer soldiers, Galvatron and Stinger, and use them to capture the Autobots. Galvatron’s behavior becomes erratic, and he is freed from control by Optimus.
Lockdown arrives and abducts Optimus and Tessa, while Galvatron retreats. Cade, Shane, and the Autobots rescue Optimus and Tessa, hijacking a ship containing Dinobots. The Autobots learn that Galvatron is Megatron reincarnated and plots to use the Seed and Transformer drones to conquer the world. Cade informs Joshua, who agrees to hand over the Seed with help from Darcy and Su Yueming.
Galvatron reactivates and takes control of the drones. Lockdown recaptures Optimus and the Dinobots, but Optimus fights Lockdown and escapes. Galvatron retreats, vowing to return. Optimus asks the Autobots to protect the Yeagers, and Joshua offers to help them build a new home.
