She Sees with Her Heart

She was born into a world without light.
No sunrises. No shadows. No glimpse of the people who bent down to scoop her up with warm hands. From the very first breath she ever took, her world was made not of colors or shapes—but of sounds, of touch, of scent, and of silence.
To many, that would be a tragedy.
To her, it was simply life.
She never saw a ball roll across the grass. She never watched birds fly overhead or saw her reflection in a puddle. But don’t you dare feel sorry for her—because what she lacks in sight, she makes up for in something far more powerful.
She sees with her soul.
When she was still just a tiny puppy, people would tilt their heads and ask, “How will she ever manage?” She stumbled at first, bumping into walls and furniture, uncertain of this big, invisible world. But she never cried. She never gave up. Instead, she learned to listen. Not just to sounds, but to feelings. She learned to recognize footsteps, to hear a sigh and know if it was sad or happy. She memorized the scent of safety. She learned that love had a rhythm—and that it lived in the steady beat of the heart that held her.
And slowly, she began to navigate with grace.
She followed voices. She curled into arms that trembled with emotion. She leaned into hands that were gentle and kind. She became the quiet presence at someone’s feet on hard days, offering comfort without needing to understand the words.
People say she’s blind, but those who know her best would argue otherwise. She senses sadness before it’s spoken. She finds your lap when your smile disappears. She knows who needs her most—and she finds them, every time, as if guided by something deeper than vision.
Because for her, the world isn’t something you look at.
It’s something you feel.
She doesn’t chase what she cannot see.
She walks forward, steady and trusting, guided by love alone.
She doesn’t fear the unknown, because everything she’s ever needed is already within her—courage, softness, strength, and the unwavering belief that love will always lead her home.
And perhaps that’s what makes her extraordinary.
Not that she was born without sight—
But that she was born already knowing the truth it takes many of us a lifetime to learn:
You don’t need perfect eyes to see beauty.
You just need a heart that’s open.
And a soul that’s willing to feel.
So let the world call her blind.
We know better.
She sees everything that matters. 💗🐾
