Hollywood Revisits America’s Most Infamous Prison with a Modern Retelling

The legendary 1962 Alcatraz escape – long considered one of history’s most audacious prison breaks – is getting a dramatic retelling in Escape from Alcatraz (2025), a new thriller from Paramount Pictures set to premiere next summer.
